My Project

Did you know that bocce has been played since 5200 B.C.? This game was played throughout Egypt, the Middle East, Asia, Greece, and finally in everyday backyards.

Help me bring this sport to our school!

This game fosters teamwork, hand-eye coordination, measurement skills, mental addition, and awareness of physics, and is just plain fun.

Physical education isn't just about getting our bodies moving, but also exposing our brains to new ideas and experiences that can foster whole-person development. This game will help me to highlight another choice in my students' journey to overall health, happiness, and well-being.
