My students need flexible seating, like wobble chairs and balance balls, to promote a happy, fun learning environment. Fun seating in the classroom creates a loving and interesting environment for kids to learn.
I am the proud teacher of 48 students. Since I am a fairly new teacher, I need help making my classroom the best possible for my amazing students. Many of my students cannot bring in their own supplies for the classroom and we do not get a lot of money from the district to use towards our classrooms. Therefore, it is very challenging and expensive for me to provide everything I would like to on my own.
Many of my students are the most grateful ones I have ever met.
It is extremely heartwarming to see kids with so little, be grateful for so much. Sometimes I am the only hug my students get in the day and it melts my heart to see how happy they are to be at school each day. Therefore, I would like to improve my classroom and make it the best I can in order to ensure the success of my students.
My Project
These stools and ball seats will make a difference because they will help my students to see school in a positive light. My students have always begged me to get fun seating in the classroom. These stools will help my students to get their wiggles out as well as have fun while learning. The students are used to the same desks, chairs, carpets, etc. in every classroom.
By providing a fun change, students will be excited to come into my classroom each day.
The few seating options I do already have in my classroom cause students to argue because there is not enough for everyone. By getting a couple more flexible seating options in my room, each child will get a chance to experience fun seating. This is important to help children to feel happy and comfortable in my classroom.
