Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is made up of 20 amazing learners. They come to class ready to learn despite the obstacles they face prior to stepping foot in the classroom.
We are a Title I school and almost all of my students are English language learners.
My students love coming to school because I make learning fun. My students work hard each and every day. Unfortunately, they need supplies that I can’t provide on my own. This includes incentives for our classroom store.
My Project
My students work extremely hard both academically and behaviorally. In my classroom, students are rewarded for going above and beyond with special tokens. Students can turn in their tokens for a special reward at our classroom treasure box and coupon store. Some of the coupons include extra computer time, show and tell, and take off your shoes! Students can also choose to go to my treasure box.
I'm requesting bracelets, pencil erasers, bouncy balls, and Play-Doh to reward positive behavior.
By adding new prizes to our classroom store, students can continue to work hard and reward themselves for their hard work and exemplary behavior. Thank you for considering a donation to our classroom!
