Fun Prize Incentives For Students Being Brilliant...
Help me give my students prizes that will be used as incentives for doing well on formative and summative assessments letting them know that not only are they brilliant, but their hard work is very much appreciated!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Sixth grade is a very fun place to be! I teach Science and my students are creative, curious, fun, thoughtful, hardworking learners. My students like to learn through hands-on, interactive and engaging projects that challenge us to use our critical thinking skills.
Not everyone learns the same way and being able to provide different materials and customize their learning allows me to reach all my students.
My students are brilliant and I love to reward them for being that way.
My Project
It is always a great time to celebrate students being brilliant. Each year the students are paid for good grades and they take pride in that. I love paying students for quizzes, tests and projects in an effort to keep the good grades coming. During our celebrations, students are recognized and given various fun prizes that they really appreciate.
Students come in engaged daily with hopes of receiving a prize for their success on their formative or summative assessment.
Seeing those happy faces makes it all worth while to me. So much so that in the past I have purchased many of the prizes on my own. Please consider donating. I would greatly appreciate it.
