My Students

My third-grade class is full of eager learners. They have a love of learning and work very well together. My students stay positive and get excited to learn new ways of doing things. Most of my students come from homes that are of low economic status.

Students come from three different cities to make our large school.

Some students spend more than an hour each way on the school bus. Even with all the hardships and lack of supplies and technological advances, they still enjoy coming to school.

My Project

These stability balls will be used throughout the entire school day. They will be used at students' seats in place of traditional classroom chairs. The purpose of having these balls is to enable my students to have options to help satisfy their extra energy output. Students give a more positive attitude about school when they are comfortable physically. When students are having fun and feel comfortable, they are able to learn better.

These stability balls will benefit all my students, and especially those who struggle with hyperactivity and attention issues.

These balls will be used to increase engagement, focus, motivation, and enjoyment of school. They will be able to be used for many years and will help students see that we all need different things to help us learn best!
