Fun in the Sun

Help me give my students the opportunity for a hands on lab featuring heat transfer and absorption. Then a more efficient way for students to model their ideas digitally.

My Students

My students are ready for some hands on STEM learning. The digital platform has created this awesome way to supplement educational material, but there is always this want for Hands on experiences. My students have not had the full extent of STEM learning due to COVID protocols.

My Project

TPT is always a necessity when trying to build engaging lessons for the digital platform. It will be used forever and always! The infrared thermometers will be used for a hands on stem activity to show how heat transfer can be affected by multiple materials. These thermometers will be able to accurately (and quickly) determine changes in temperature as well as allow a larger material list. The mice need further explanation, STEM is important, but the the digital platform will still be used for modeling and filling out assignments. The extra Mice make building/drawing much more manageable than the track pad.
