Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Aztec Media students use the "Spirit Stand" as our primary fundraiser throughout the year. This is where they paint faces, sell "shout outs" and run a photo booth at school activities such as football games and the homecoming carnival.

However, it can get pretty hot in Arizona - especially during the early fall - and we'd love to have some shade, cooler for waters and wheels for transport to make our student enterprise activities safe and successful!

The equipment here would allow our staffers to run their student business focusing on customer service and FBLA skills instead of being distracted by trying to keep cool and hydrated.
