My Students

Almost all of my students come from a low socio-economic status. We live in a very rural community that is sadly being taken over by drugs.

However, despite these challenges we as teachers are still trying to push our students to be successful human beings, and to hopefully break the cycle of addiction.

Many of my students are currently in foster care. I have little resources, but I am hoping give my students the most welcoming, encouraging school experience that they can possibly have.

My Project

These games will give my students a fun, interactive learning experience. I want to start making school a more enjoyable place for my students, and I think if we had learning games that would be a good start.

We all get tired of the monotonous direct instruction, then worksheets for practice lifestyle that occurs in many classrooms.

By allowing my students to play games to practice previously learned skills, they will become so engaged that they will likely forget they are learning.

There are a lot of times we have disrupted schedules where we could utilize what's left of our time to play these games in groups.
