This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I love about my students is they all are high achieving students, constantly wanting to know more. They are always questioning the “why” in things. All of my students are bilingual and have been in the dual language program learning both Spanish and English since kindergarten. There is only two schools with this program in our district, which has allowed them all to be a tight knit group. Since they are comfortable with one another they are a bit chatty. I don't mind, but I’m constantly having to do activities that are engaging and challenging. I do not mind since it keeps the class fun and the students wanting to participate.

My Project

As a teacher, we are always needing extra time. We want to make our lessons fun and engaging but the amount of hours it would take discourages us from constantly doing so. Adding TPT gift cards will help me include fun activities in class without having to spend hours after school. This not only helps me create a fun activity for a lesson but also engaging activities for station time. Inferencing, social studies, STEM, math games, and whatever else my students need. Thank you in advance for helping out my wonderful students.
