My students need fun and educational items to utilize during indoor recess. We live in rural West Virginia where sometimes it's too hot and humid to go out or it's too cold and snowy!

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach in a small school in a rural area of Kanawha County, West Virginia. I have an upcoming class of eager to learn, fifth graders who soak up the world around them like sponges. Many of these kids come from low income households, broken families, families where the adults have to put their every moment in work, and do not get the opportunity to have the sense of family and community each day. In my classroom, each child feels like an important piece of our classroom family!
My students need some fun and entertaining games and cards to play with during indoor recess. We are from rural West Virginia where it snows and is super cold in the winter or it is sweltering hot and humid during fall. On days that students can not go outside for recess we have a limited amount of things that they can do. I want to provide fun and educational strategy games and encouraging STEM building blocks so that they are learning while playing during indoor recess. It is also a low social economic school (title 1) and we could use all the help we can get! Help my students enjoy indoor recess!
