My Young Fives through fifth grade students love learning new things in P.E. They are all learning how to cooperate with each other, as well as pushing themselves to do their best personally. My students are eager, hard working, and show good sportsmanship. Each one of my students brings their own personality to our classroom atmosphere.
Some students are struggling with their social and emotional wellness.
Currently, my students are in a hybrid mode, meaning they only come to school twice a week and learn from home the other three days.
I want to help provide a safe and supportive environment for them. All of my students are willing to try, learn, and give it their best effort! They deserve my best effort, too!
My Project
As we navigate through the current world health problems, my students are only able to participate in P.E. once a week. While I have them, I am working hard on creating a safe and fun environment while working to focus on their social and emotional wellness.
The materials that I'm asking for will be used to continue to teach my students about the various character traits that I am incorporating into my physical education classes this year.
We are working on many traits that focus on social and emotional health.
I want my students to come away from this school year feeling socially and emotionally stronger!
