Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are sweet, curious, and love to learn! I work in a Title 1 school in which students from diverse backgrounds and many different home languages come to school excited every day to learn new things!

My students love to make art, sing songs, do hands-on activities, and be good citizens.

They love to learn about the world around them. Their excitement for school and life are contagious and that is a huge motivator for me to make sure we learn things in many different ways.

My Project

My students will be able to use the bean bag chairs in our library area fostering their love of reading! The stamps will be used during our word work centers to practice sight words. Seat sacks and crayon boxes will be used to organize our supplies. The Wiggle Bands are a great flexible-seating alternative option which will helps students wiggle while they work! Students can release frustration, extra energy, and anxiety.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement, attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
