Fun for All: Using Interactive Games to Engage Students
My students need 40 small white boards to use at their desks to answer questions regarding literature, and play word games.
This project expired on January 31, 2011.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
In a world full of technical devices, not all students can afford to have an individual laptops. We need 40 white boards to help students get active in Language Arts.
My students are young teenagers trying to discover who they are and where they fit in.
We are the only jr. high in our district, and we strive to be the best we can be. It is unfortunate that budgets have been cut at the expense of our students, but they continue to shine by using whatever materials we have at hand.
White boards are a great way to get students thinking and acting. We can use them as signaling devices, drawing boards, writing keyboards, or anything the student's creative mind can come up with. We will use them when learning spelling, vocabulary, literary terms, etc. They will be of great assistance to all.
This gift will have a great impact on all students.
They will get to use them at their own desk, and they will create clever ways to continue to use them throughout the school year. We hope to write, draw, spell, and create using the gifts bestowed upon us.
