My Students
My students are hard workers. They also love their free play time! We incorporate math and free play using many types of building materials. We are in need of some fun building materials! We are requesting Duplos building blocks! The students love to build and display their creations!
Extra sets of Duplos are needed so all children can participate in small groups and build.
Counting, creating, and exploring are the ways these students have fun and need colorful building blocks to be able to enjoy their play time!
My Project
Our classroom is in need of Duplos so students can create hands-on projects! We have a large center dedicated to building and creating and we have discovered that Duplos are the perfect building material for our kindergarten students to work with! These students also use the blocks for math centers, creating shapes, counting, sorting, making patterns, and adding to and taking away from structures. Free play time is used for creative discovery and adding items such as vehicles and people allows students to use their imaginations and have fun! Children are social and learn about cooperation and sharing during this time! A large set of Duplos would be very much appreciated!
