Fun Crafts for Kids Stuck at Home!

My Students

We are a small, rural county school of about 55 kids, grades Pre-K through 12th grade. Some of our classes are split classes with more than one grade.

Most of our students receive free breakfast and lunch each day.

The school's town has only about 200 people, yet some families commute to attend our school because of our small class sizes. We have a dedicated staff that cares about all of our students. There will be 13 students (grades 1 -2) who will benefit from this project.

My Project

As you all know, schools have been shut down indefinitely, probably for the remainder of the school year. We, teachers, have been providing education online as well as putting together homework packets weekly at our school buildings. (It's lonely and quiet in our classrooms with no students!)

Help me get some crafts for my students!

For this project, I've chosen some fun activities that the kids will love doing. I want these kids' eyes to light up when they see the cool things I've sent home.

Years from now, I want these young people to look back on this confined time at home with good memories, not scary ones.
