My students need math games focused on the common core curriculum. Some of these items include early math instant games, file folder games and common core activities.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students want to be excited about math, and we need materials to allow them to do that!
My students live in an urban part of Baltimore City with a high rate of murder, crime and poverty.
My school needs more resources. We need materials to provide students with an excellent education. They deserve the best! They are eager to learn, but we do not always have the resources that allow us to serve them at the highest level.
My Project
My students need games that will allow them to practice their math skills. The file folder and boxed games I requested are colorful and fun. This will help my students to be excited about math while learning at the same time. I believe these resources will give them the extra push they need to be proficient in all math concepts needed to move from one grade level to the next. The instant games will be great because they are quick, fun and efficient ways to review skills. The file folder games will allow students to work with a partner and practice their current standards.
This project will make a difference by allowing my students to have access to file folder and boxed game sets aligned to our math common core curriculum.
Students will be able to use these resources to become proficient in all standards aligned in our curriculum. The math games are a great way for students to reinforce their skills. We appreciate you and your support. Thank you!
