We are a small, rural elementary school in the beautiful Northwoods! Our students are diverse in their learning needs and backgrounds. Our music classroom is accessible to all students and our teacher that uses a wheelchair! We love exploring our world through the study of music two days a week and performing for our peers, parents, and community!
Our talented little musicians (K-5) are full of energy and kindness but need help making their classroom even more inclusive for all learners.
We greatly appreciate any help you can provide in our fun, learning, and music making projects!
My Project
My K-2 students have a variety of needs in their music learning and adaptive needs. Using sturdy rhythm instruments, Boomwhackers, and fun stories like Freddie the Frog make music learning accessible!
Having resources that are age appropriate, safe, and cleanable are key for ALL of my K-2 students to learn music more effectively and in FUN ways!
My student LOVE Fredding the Frog and his friend, Eli! They have been learning about where notes live and tempos. To have the additional supplies of the additional books, flashcards, and puppets will make this curriculum come alive and create long-lasting memories of the content using stories and play!
The smaller magnetic whiteboard is needed so it can be portable for all of my students to have access to the content whether from sitting, standing, or wheelchairs.
