Help me give my students LEGO Education sets to help them explore math and science skills in a new way!

Our school is filled with the most amazing students! They truly love knowledge and are so excited to learn new things every day! Our school is a Title I school, but this does not define who they are. It is my belief that they can and will learn. It is our responsibility to create a climate where their individual learning styles and needs are met in order to ensure success. It truly is amazing to be a part of their lives and to help foster a love of education within each and every day.
Our students are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.
The STREAMers Club was founded to give 20 kids the opportunity to explore STREAM (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Art and Math) tasks and to interact with their peers in a constructive way.
This project resulted from analyzing the wants and needs of our students. A small population of our second graders expressed an interest in STREAM activities, beyond that of basic coding and art, through a survey. These students excel in the classroom and seek additional formats to express themselves. The STREAMers Club was formed with them in mind.
The outcome of this and future projects is to provide the space and give them the opportunity to see what they can do!
The LEGO Education WeDo sets are the "building blocks" our students need to start this journey! Thank you for your support!
