I teach a wide variety of students who are learning in a hands-on environment. These students are passionate, kind, loving, and important in this world! My kids work best in a hands on environment to be able to explore and learn in more ways than one.
These students are in a Title I school and are working hard to get the education they deserve.

My Project
For my class, we learn best when we can be hands-on and explore different things. STEM would bring a whole new world of adventure to the class. In this Donors Choose project, I am trying to get Merge Cubes, Ozobots, and STEM books. The merge cubes are a version of virtual reality. This would help students see different things, like the solar system, in different ways. Ozobots are a type of coding robot where students will be able to take a pen and write a pattern that will make the robot go. This not only allows students to practice their handwriting and penmanship but also allows them to be engineers and code different programs!! The books I chose, go along with STEM in the classroom. They have powerful lead characters and teach students about being scientists, architects, and engineers.
My students are so smart and a STEM classroom can help them be creative, think outside the box, and use skills they will need their whole life.
