My Students

The students I teach are an intelligent, energetic, fun group of excited, focused and ready to learn fifth graders. They enjoy reading, problem-solving and hands-on learning. My students come from low to middle income families that are unable to have an abundance of reading materials and various types of literature in their homes.

This bubbly, intelligent and inquisitive group of students, are anxious with expectation about learning about how the past has shaped our present.

Please help me create an interest in STEM and Robotics that will cause the students to want to learn all they can!!!!

My Project

STEM Bins are great for engineering! The STEM bins Essential Kit is an ideal tool to integrate Science, Engineering and Math into the everyday curriculum.

Using STEM Bins will help students apply structures to real-world designs, construct a variety of two-dimensional shapes, three-dimensional shapes, lines, and angles using basic geometry, examine multiple perspectives in visual arts and build fine motor skills.

With the use of the STEM Bins, students are instructed to read, sometimes to write in journals, and are not given yet another worksheet to complete. It's totally hands on and done cooperatively; in pairs or groups. It's a great tool!!!
