My Students

Every child is gifted, they just unwrap their packages at different times. “If you've met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism.” Dr. Stephen Shore.

This is true of my students.

My six students are all on the autism spectrum and have many different requirements concerning communication, behavior, and sensory needs. My goal is to teach my students how to communicate to the best of their ability, and to socialize with their peers while focusing on academics and daily living skills. I push them to be as independent as they can be in all aspects of their lives.

My Project

My students are visual and hands on learners. What better way to learn coding then by being able to use Dot and Dash to carry out instructions and write codes. My students love using technology. There are the most independent when using technology. These robots will hep my students to become motivated and stay engaged while learning to work together to make the robots, move, talk, and play the xylophone.

These robots will bring my students into the 21st century with learning about the language of coding.

These robots will help my students learn about how robots work and can help people in everyday life.
