My Students
We teach amazing five year olds. They are constantly questioning, learning and discovering. They know that kindergarten is their first introduction to the world of school, and they can't wait to learn as much as possible.
Many of my students speak a language other than English and we use their language knowledge to build a community of diverse learners.
I want to provide them with every opportunity to experience the world. They are the future and we need to ensure they are prepared to take on anything that comes their way.
My Project
There are a huge percentage of women and minorities who are not a part of the science and engineering world. My goal as an educator is to help inspire all of my students to be their very best. The STEM/STEAM materials I am requesting will allow them to use their imaginations, be inspired by the world around them, and design products to help make the world a better place.
We would use the project materials first thing in the morning so we can begin each day with a STEM/ STEAM Start.
The requested Robot mouse games would help our kindergarten students have a hands on experience in coding and programming
The books will allow my students to see the real world application of the skills and knowledge they are exploring in STEAM.
We will use the Legos as students arrive at school and begin their day with exploration and innovation.
