Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My pre-k students are full of energy and excited to learn. Usually, my class is their first experience with school and they are so excited to learn and play. They come from low-income families and deserve to be represented in the stories we read and provided with all the supplies they require to learn.

My Project

These materials will help my student engage in activities and projects that encourage critical thinking. These manipulatives will engage students in all aspects of the STEAM curriculum. They will be able to explore science while learning about animals. They will learn about math, engineering and architecture by using different types of blocks to build and create a variety of structures. These materials are ideal because they allow children to explore themes in small groups and it allows children to learn from each other. Thank you so much for your generosity.
