My Students

I am a 1st-year teacher at our elementary and it’s my wish to provide my students with engaging and meaningful learning activities. My students love hands on learning opportunities and working in collaborative groups. I recently implemented learning stations where students rotate every 15 minutes, up to one hour. They have asked to do that as often as possible because it’s “amazing!” I would love to purchase STEM activities for these rotations as my students are engaged and falling in love with learning! Thank you so much for supporting my class!

My Project

First graders learn through hands on learning opportunities where they can make sense of their world through meaningful and relevant activities. I took over a classroom mid-year where students were unmotivated and tired of boring morning packets. I implemented hands on learning first thing in the morning and they are thriving, not just surviving the day anymore. As a result, my students have improved across the board! We need more opportunities to collaborate and problem solve as they start their day with higher levels of engagement through STEAM activities on a daily basis.
