My Students

My Second Grade Gifted and Talented students are VERY curious about the word around them. Project Based Learning is BIG here! These young scholars soak up everything! They really keep their teacher on her toes. Every Friday is Project Day. We chose topics that we are passionate about, and we conduct research.

In our "Think Tank" we integrate all of our subject areas into our projects.

That's what makes our projects such educational fun! We are always thinking of ways to extend our thinking!

My Project

My students will put Science and Art together by closely examining the small wonders of our big world around them. They will then create art based on what they discover throughout the seasons. We will visit our outdoor classroom at our school. Our young scholars will examine leaves and bugs and flowers. The children will go on nature walks and observe the beauty of their surroundings aided with these tools that you will help them acquire. Their education will be project based and truly hands on. Their busy school day will be fulled with wonder and excitement. They will wake up thrilled to go to school!
