Our classroom has a wide range of learners. They are able to come in each day expressing their love for learning and their "get to work" attitudes. They are students who come from various backgrounds, as well as schooling. They are eager and work well as a team!
My Project
My students are extremely eager to learn this year. The materials that I have chosen for the use in my classroom will allow them the opportunity to have hands-on experiences. These manipulatives are great for one on one instruction, partner work, or even center-based learning.
Math is an area where manipulating materials allows students to go beyond the limits.
I am excited to see my students use the rekenreks, fluency puzzles, and mathmatical games. They will be able to grow through fun experiences that I am hoping to provide them with.
I hope to use these tools on a daily or weekly basis. I want my students to make connections through manipulating these resources to real life situations. Having hands-on tools will help create an atmosphere of positivity and allow the students to blossom mathematically!
