My Students

Our students are extremely hard workers. We are a low-income school with lots of free or reduced-price lunch recipients. That never stops them from working together and being not only students but part of a family. Our school is home to around 1000 students.

Not every person can say that they love their job but I absolutely adore working with these young people, who show signs of greatness daily.

They may not have much outside of school, but we make sure that they are in a safe and productive environment. Our school is like a family. We always stress the importance of togetherness and cooperation.

My Project

My math students will be using these calculators all year in order to be more successful in math class. I have some students that will benefit greatly from being able to use these calculators on their math assignments. Students will also be able to use them when they have science lab days.

Over the course of the year, we do several cross-curricular projects in which students could use the calculators.

They will help students be successful in several different subject areas, including science and math. We would also have a big advantage when our students take the state test at the end of the year.

These calculators are on the approved list for state testing. Which means that our students can use them all year long!
