This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic students from all over our city. They come from different neighborhoods and backgrounds, to come together at our vocational high school. Our students are able to participate in either an International Baccalaureate program or a vocation training program.

I teach 90 freshmen who do not have the chance to interact with technology for learning on a regular basis.

These students use technology daily in their personal lives, but I want to show them how they can use technology to help them with learning as well.

My Project

I am in need of a charging cart for my Chromebooks. It is difficult to use them throughout the day because they are hard to move from classroom to classroom. I feel lucky that I was able to get donations for Chromebooks, but would now like to use them in all of my classrooms.

Chromebooks are difficult to use frequently when there is no easy way to move them from classroom to classroom.

With a charging cart, I would be able to easily sure my Chromebooks in all of my classes and allow other teachers to also use them as needed.
