This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our school is located in an urban area with high rates of poverty. Despite obstacles and challenges experienced by our families, they are determined to give their children a solid foundation by enrolling them in a high quality preschool program.

I love my class of Eager Explorers!

The class consists of of 20 pre-k students who are full of energy, laughter and curiosity. They enter my classroom every day, ready to engage with the world in meaningful and authentic ways.

My Project

I am eager to see all of the wonderful and creative ideas that will come to life through the use of the Design & Build Engineering Centers. The material requested will provide students with an outlet and opportunity to increase their creative expressions, improve their problem solving and strengthen their fine motor skills. Students will use the Design and Build Water Blocks in the sensory table to explore architecture on a fluid surface. This will challenge them in a unique way.

My students amaze me with their magnificent ideas!

In our classroom we have been learning what to do with an idea. Students have really connected to the fact that their ideas are valuable and their expression is important to our class and community. I look forward to sharing in their creative expression through the use of the Washable Liquid Watercolors. Please partner with us, as we grow up great!
