Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are from all over the world and for some this is their first year in the United States. Some of them have never been in school before or have had limited schooling in their home language.
They are the most positive and hardworking students I have ever seen.
My students love to learn and be creative every day. I love seeing them and the faces they make when they are able to grasp all the topics we are learning.
My Project
I want my students to become 21st century thinkers. Through these STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) materials, my students will be able to problem solve, be creative, and be able to collaborate with others. They will also be able to work on sharing and taking turns with everyone.
These resources will help my students become better problem solvers.
I know they will greatly appreciate these items and will use them every day. I cannot wait to see all of the creative projects my students are able to create using the marble maze, magformers, brain flakes, keva planks, and popsicle sticks.
