Our school is creating a STEAM Room. This room is devoted to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Students will be able to go into the room and create projects using different types of resources. This type of learning is called Project Based Learning (PBL). Students come together in groups and learn, while having so much fun!
Our goal for this classroom is to create an inviting, warm, interesting, and fun room for our students.
As of right now our room has tables and a green screen for filming. We would like fill this room with all types of fun things. Our grade level is raising money for buy Zoobs. This is a building set where students can create cars, trains, houses, or anything else they would like to explore. This will fit into every category in out STEAM room. They can be used to create science experiments, engineer new ways to make things, create new artistic adventures, and solve math problems. We look forward to getting these supplies and start using this room. This will be a room that will continue to build over the years and will be used by your child until they leave Armstrong Elementary.
My Project
These materials will be used in out STEAM (Science, Techonology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) room. This room is called "Innovation Station" and we will use this room often to explore the world around us. These items will not only help our class but will help all of the classes in our school. We are so excited to get on board with this project and jump into the excited world of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. These resources will be used by our current students as well as students to come. Every child will be able to enjoy these projects and will learn at the same time!
