My Students

Students in my school are able to apply their developing knowledge of mathematics and science using technology. We use hands-on materials and learning through experiences and challenges.

Over 95 percent qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, but students still respond to our enthusiastic, caring teachers and staff.

Students are expected to work hard and maintain a consistent effort. They are highly motivated and enjoy challenging themselves. They work well in collaboration with their peers and are always creative in their solutions.

My Project

The students will use the Chromebooks in a STEAM (STEM) classroom. They will be working with partners or groups on a variety of projects, including 3D Design, Stop-Motion animation, Virtual Science Labs, and Video Editing. The students will also utilize the Chromebooks for basic computer and keyboarding skills. These Chromebooks will allow the students to use the STEM Lab in a more efficient manner. They will be able to have space to complete hands-on engineering and design projects without the hindrance of bulky desktop computers taking the tablespace. They will also be able to move to different spaces in the classroom seamlessly to increase learning time.
