My Students

I teach a group of 26 enthusiastic public school 3rd graders who live in a suburban neighborhood of California.

They have varying abilities and learning styles, along with specific educational needs.

What makes them all similar is their sense of wonder, their curious nature and their quest to explore their world. They are constantly asking "How?" and "Why?" and they live in a constant state of wide eyed wonderment. I have the privilege and joy of working with them on a daily basis.

My Project

My students are scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and artists who love to engage in STEAM activities in class. The Chromebooks that we are requesting will enable them to learn to code, research, design and record their findings in a digital way. They will also be able to readily share their work and thinking on our class blog and communicate with other classes at our school.

By donating to our class project you will be bringing our STEAM activities into the 21st century.

My students are digital natives seeking to collaborate with one another in a way that makes sense to them and will serve them well in their futures. With Chromebooks in hand, they will move "full STEAM ahead"...where only the boundaries of their imaginations will stop them!
