My Students
My students are inquisitive and eager to learn. Music is their favorite modality for learning new things. From circle games to solfege they know a lot of " Sol, La Mi" the building blocks of singing and playing instruments they enjoy a challenge.
Hands-on and energetic pursuits of skill is their main preference for exploring new repertoire and the playing of instruments.
Decoding, problem solving specialist best describe our students passion for learning. My students have a thirst for knowledge and literacy.
My Project
Ukuleles are unique instruments that will be used for hands on engagement of students. String instruments have a dual capacity for fine motor skills and ear training. Listening is the primary gateway for music learning, adding a another culturally diverse instrument will spark further well-rounded musicianship. Music literature that inspires reading comprehension is a big plus when exploring new integrative co-curricular support. Literacy is key to helping our Tile 1 students make connections. String by string and note by note, the Ukulele will be a positive avenue of brain boosting hand eye coordination for our highly focused virtuosos in training.
