This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Middle school students are special individuals who are experiencing many social, physical, and emotional changes. As an educator of middle school students, I love to watch them grow academically and achieve their goals in the classroom and their athletic goals. My students have a strong community base that provides them a structure and will to work hard, despite challenges they may face. As their teacher, I want them to turn their challenges into successes and make use of their available resources. I want to make sure I can help provide them with resources of which to build from to meet their goals and become successful. Any contribution will be an investment in the lives of students, the future generation.

My Project

As a physical education teacher, I seek to instill healthy lifestyle practices in my students. A donation to my fundraiser will help students hydrate and fuel their bodies during athletic events and physical education classes. Additionally, Gatorades will be provided to the Fine Arts Department (band, chorus, etc.) and Field Day events. Many students do not have access to sport drinks to stay hydrated during games and your donation would help them tremendously. Additionally, the football team is in need of new footballs for practice and games. Our students need many items to ensure their success and help build their healthy lifestyles, but these items will help get them started.
