Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students aspire to be world changers. They are innovators, curious and full of enthusiasm to learn. They absolutely love hands-on, problem-based learning, which keeps them engaged throughout lessons and activities! They come to school each day prepared, ready to learn and try new things which will help them grow both academically, and also personally. They work as a team and build on each others' knowledge. Their possibilities are truly endless but limited because of funding. They already are changing the world, they just don't know it yet.
My Project
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves reading, although their preferred method of reading varies. With these products they will be able to supplement their reading curriculum and participate in a novel study of the book ‘Wonder’, while incorporating technology into their learning, as an extra tool for comprehension. As an educator my goal is to create an atmosphere which will foster growth, not only academically, but also personally. I am so lucky and thankful for my group of future world leaders and believe fueling them up with these resources will be the first step on their journey to success.
