My students come to school eager to learn. As a teacher, my main goal is to make sure that all students come to school and know that they are loved and safe. I hope to create an environment, where all learning is FUN and coming to school, is enjoyed.
First grade is the year where we see the most academic growth and it is truly a joy to watch each of them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
My students come with lots of energy and laughter to my classroom. I teach 22-26 students who are 6 or 7 years old and have so many stories to share. They teach me just as much as I teach them each year and it is a blessing to love what I do each day.
My Project
I want learning to be fun! Students can learn by play and that is my goal with these tools. Many students think that playing is much more fun than learning but indeed we can learn when we play.
Creating, building, and playing helps students develop socially, developmentally, and also grow their fine motor skills.
This project is going to help students be creative and enjoy learning through choice stations in the classroom. Each day I hope to reward students with time to "play" with these tools. I would like to provide new, engaging, fun activities for students to experiment with.
