My students are enthusiastic learners destined for greatness! Our school is a rural high school located south of Indianapolis. My school is small but mighty, we work hard to give our students love, appreciation, and the supplies necessary to be successful in our school and beyond. The work we do is paramount to the future of every child who walks through our doors.
We want to provide for the basic needs of our kids so they are able to compete on a Global Scale and with their peers.
My classroom is a place where all learners flourish and come eager to learn each day. I am looking forward to an amazing year with outstanding scholars!
My Project
My students come to class eager to learn and engage with mathematics but sometimes their energy is dragging! Providing snacks and breakfast items will allow me to ensure that all of my students have the energy necessary to learn!
Our school is located in the midst of a food desert so students don't always have the luxury of choosing a nutritional option for breakfast or a snack.
Many of my students receive free breakfast and lunch but the school day is long! This can be compounded by students who have before or after school practice or extracurricular activities. I often find myself purchasing granola bars to keep in my classroom to give to students who are hungry, particularly in after school tutoring.
Your donation will provide Pepperidge Farm Gold Fish Crackers, Rold Gold Tiny Twist Pretzels, and Welch's Fruit Snacks as options for my students to help keep their bellies full and their minds focused! Your donation will help me provide and care for the whole student while strengthening our relationship and sharpening our learning outcomes!
