This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

First and foremost, thank you for considering donating to this project. I am requesting snacks and refreshments that my school community members have identified as contributing to their health and wellness throughout the school day.

The items requested will be available for students throughout the school day and during after school program to support student learning and encourage healthy snacking.

Students are not able to maximize their learning experiences if they are hungry. Thanks again for your consideration towards improving Oakland schools and the overall learning experience of our future leaders.
