My Students

My students are fifth graders this year. I had them as fourth grade STEM students and moved to fifth grade to take our class to a STEAM class. These students are so excited to be part of the 21st century learning environment. They are innovative and collaborative.

Our school is a small school with a big heart.

They truly love learning and need the tools to continue their learning goals, especially in the fields of technology and engineering. Each day, they put forth their best effort. They are absolutely an inspirational group of children excited to learn every day. If there is any group of students that would crave all the tools necessary to compete in the 21st century learning environment, it is this class!

My Project

The 3D printer materials in this project will give our students the opportunities to explore the fine arts in their STEM classroom. Moving from a STEM to STEAM environment, students will have opportunities to explore graphic design.

Students will thrive while creating projects and engineering design models that will spark an interest in the fine arts and how they can change the world one color, sketch, or 3D look at a time.

They will use the printer and printer pen to begin to explore careers in the fine arts that can inspire them to be more creative and collaborative in their future.
