My students need more devices to keep up with the interest and enthusiasm they have for learning. With more devices, more students have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of robotics and computer science.
Our school is full of creative thinkers and problem-solvers who are in need of some intellectual challenges! We have a very diverse population who would benefit from a multitude of learning experiences to deepen their academic endeavors. It is my goal to bring a revolutionary learning opportunity to my students to ignite a passion for learning like never before.
Our students are spectacularly special and unique in every way - each offer their own strengths and additions that make our population at my primary school INCREDIBLE!

Our students have learned so much from their Dash and Dot robots, but we've learned so much, we're ready to expand! We need more devices in our class to open up the opportunity to explore coding and robotics with the large numbers of students interested in learning.
These devices will bring MARS to our classroom and space exploration education to our students.
The devices in this project will be used for students to program them to fulfill challenges for them to learn and use coding and programming software. Students will use the Spheros to navigate a MARS challenge to transport a variety of objects, they will simulate a variety of challenges that will inspire them to continue space exploration education. The arduino boards and sensors will be used for students to create their on inquiry-based experiments with technology to gather data.
More devices helps our class continue to be problem solvers and solution seekers. The effects of their success goes beyond our robotics class, the critical-thinking and problem solving then appears in core subject areas - where sometimes the strongest in robotics tend to struggle in core subjects. Robotics can be their "thing". They're place where they are "strong one". The place where they can be the professional. It's more than code - it's confidence!
