Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Creativity drives my classroom and my students are always open to new ways of exploring their creative sides. I love to see them be brave enough to try new things - to learn how to use new tool and make a few mistakes while doing it. The materials we are requesting through this project are items that will allow creativity to continue to flourish within my students. The heat press machine and heat transfer vinyl will provide my students with opportunities to create one-of-a-kind items for special occasions/events in the school building, for their loved ones, and for each other.

With your help, my students will be able to express themselves through their unique creations and share their creativity with those around them; they will be proud of the technical skills they will be able to exhibit as they challenge themselves to create more because they have the tools and materials to so.

With the additional vinyl, my students will continue to beautify the spaces around the school. The variety of colors and finishes being requested ensures further flexibility in the projects we anticipate completing.
