If I could describe my kindergarten classroom in five words, they would be: engaging, community, passionate, brilliant, and loving. Each and every day, I do my best to provide an environment for my students that is engaging. Our classroom is a loving community of brilliant and passionate young learners from all different walks of life.
In our classroom, we work on building and growing in our community around the things we share and have in common.
Working in a small, Title I school in rural Virginia, my young learners enter the classroom each day excited to build new relationships, expand their knowledge in all subject areas, learn, work, and play each and every day. Every single day, we celebrate each other and our little wins together.
My Project
At the beginning of next school year, I am moving from kindergarten to second grade. Therefore, I am in need of new educational puzzles and games. Hands-on learning is one of my favorite ways to teach! My students love educational puzzles and games for reading and math. This project is for educational games for us to have and use in our second-grade classroom.
Having these games and puzzles will make hands-on learning more fun and enjoyable!
Our games and puzzles include antonyms, word building puzzles for reading, and addition and subtractions puzzles for math! It is my hope that with having more games, my students will continue their love of learning.
