Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a group of kind, caring, generous and motivated 3rd grade students in a Title I school. My students love to take on challenges and see their own growth. Many of my students have economic difficulties and live in a community with few resources available. Growing up in this community is not easy and I have a strong desire to provide all my students may need in order for them to be successful.

My Project
I am requesting a Cricut Machine along with all tools necessary to create projects with my students such as bulletin boards, help organize and decorate our classroom. Most importantly though, I have incredibly artistic students with a big imagination and I thought of a project for those that love designing. This machine with appropriate training, guidance and supervision, will provide students with an opportunity to get creative with projects.
The Cricut will provide endless opportunities for use in the classroom.
My students can use this machine to bring projects to life with various lettering and cut-out designs. The machine will also be used to create incentives, rewards for my students, learning materials and so much more! The Cricut tools are included in this project. I've mentioned the idea to my students and they can't wait to get started. With your support, we can bring imagination and creativity to real life projects!
