From Clutter to Organized: A Goal to Simplify the Classroom
My students need a scanner. We will be able to scan in their pieces of work and show them through the computer and projector onto a screen, allowing all to share viewing.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The goal of a teacher is to be first and foremost a great model for his or her students. Being organized is one trait that I would like to bestow on my students. Filing papers, art work and assignments is one way that I would like to do that.
My students are part of a Charter School in Long Island City, New York that focuses on choral music.
Currently the school is growing year by year. We are a kindergarten through fourth-grade school that will eventually reach the eighth-grade. We have a very diverse population in our school.
My Project
Having a scanner in my classroom will serve many purposes. For one, organization is key for any classroom. The scanner will allow me to scan in documents, parent letters and communication letters quickly and efficiently.
Cooperative learning is also something that will be enhanced with the use of a scanner. I will be able to scan in my students’ pieces of work and show them through my computer and projector onto a screen. We will be able to share our writing, art and all other pieces of work with the entire class easily.
Organization and cooperative learning are just some of the many benefits to having a scanner in my classroom.
Having a scanner in our room will make the classroom more efficient, productive and of course more fun!
