From Alphabet to Reading

Help me give my students materials they can use to help them transition from the alphabet to beginning to read!

My Students

I have a diverse group of students. My school is a Title I school and in a very small area with low-income families. Most of them have a hard time following along and pointing/tracking. I love that my students are willing to learn and are engaged. I hope that my students will have a great school year and remember me for years to come. They will look up to you in the future with memories.

My Project

This is my first year teaching. I teach Kindergarten at a Title I school with low-income families. Learning the alphabet and its sounds is the first step into making words to begin to read. The alphabet books will help my students learn the alphabet and words that start with each letter. The magnetic boards and cards will help my students practice their letters and forming them correctly. After learning the alphabet and sounds, students start to blend words to read. The phonics readers have simple sentences to help my students learn to read and master their fluency. My class appreciates all your donation to help them become better readers!
