Frog Books! and Art Supplies to Nurture At-Home Learning
Help me give my students frog books, art supplies, and notebooks where they can track their learning. Students have been learning about frogs and will love having books to read at home and art supplies to create books!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our third grade scholars love reading informational texts about animals, learning more about the world around them, and being able to express themselves through writing and drawing. Many students currently do not have reading, writing, or art supplies at home to make many of these activities possible.
Students are working hard to continue their learning at home, yet don't have all resources needed to make their learning engaging and fun!
Many students are finding ways to work with the resources they have available, such as a notebook from school and a pen. I would like to provide learning supplies that will allow students to be creative and find joy in learning independently at home.
My Project
Prior to at-home learning, students were learning how to write narrative and informational texts through learning about frogs. Students really fell in love with learning about frogs, but many don't have books at home to keep this love alive.
With this project, each student will receive 3 frog books, a watercolor set, and a blank notebook that will allows students to continue learning about and documenting their learning of frogs.
Students will use these frog texts to continue learning how informational writers educate readers about a topic. After researching, students will be able to use their watercolors to create their own frog pictures that will be used in an Freaky Frog Notebook that they create.
These supplies will help reignite students interest and love for learning as they are able to create and document their learning.
