Help me give my students new Wilson game balls for their Friday Night Football games.
This project expired on January 16, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. This project will help build a successful football program for our large Hispanic population.
Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
Our students love to be active, but with limited resources available to our school and students, finding the right activities can be a challenge.
Football is one of America's greatest games, but I work with a large population of students that do not have an understanding of America's greatest game. Because of the large Hispanic population in our school building, our students are drawn more to sports like soccer, baseball, and volleyball.
The purchase of these new Wilson game balls would allow our kids to practice with proper equipment, which is a rarity in our school.
Our football team regularly plays and practices with rubber footballs that are not very durable, and quickly lose their shape and grip. Please help our kids out by supplying them with the essential equipment needed to be successful.
