My students need fresh supplies like glue, highlighters, and colored pencils to start off the school year and get their creative, academic minds moving.
The middle school students I teach are kind, thoughtful, and consistently high achievers. My students have been learning together for eight years and treat each other like family. Working and learning in such a tight community is inspiring and allows everyone to support each other and grow from others regularly.
These youngsters deserve the best opportunities to learn and grow in our ever changing world.
Bringing in additional technology and other resources would let our bright students have the ability to continue to shine.
My Project
Consumable school supplies like glue and highlighters are so difficult to keep in stock in the classroom. While we all have fun shopping for school supplies at the end of summer, much of what we purchase is gone before the holidays! And we have a lot to learn when we return from the holidays. My students will benefit with new Elmer's glue, highlighters, and highlighter tape for annotating borrowed books, craft scissors for in-class assignments, and colored pencils to help bring projects to life.
After a long summer these fresh minds need fresh supplies to get them back in their academic mind set.
We all want to set up everything perfectly and show our students we are excited to teach them new things, and fresh supplies make everyone feel good!
