My students are inquisitive and perform their absolute best when they are working in small groups. They absolutely love hands-on activities that allow them the opportunity to work with their peers. They come to school each day ready to learn regardless of what obstacles they may face outside of my classroom.
The majority of my students arrive at school each day, looking forward to being in an environment that encourages a positive mindset.
Each school year, I get a group of students that inspire me to do more to help them reach their potential!
My Project
We are requesting folders, bulletin board paper and border. These materials are extremely important to students in NYC right now. Most of my students are at home with very limited resources, actually excited to return to school! When we are able to go back into the classroom, I want to have new bulletin boards for the students. This way we can assure the room is clean and sanitized since leaving for this break. It is important that they return to school and see that the classroom is a a fresh start; a place where they can start over and feel safe in the midst of all of this chaos. Also, I added new folders to this project. Since we left on a Friday with no warning, many students' supplies were left in the classroom and had to be thrown out. These folders will allow students to. have a place to keep all of their work!
